anthill

๐Ÿ“– Description :

A popular and irresistible Russian dessert will sweeten your palate with its delicate, flavorful cookie dough and caramel cream. This dessert brings back some childhood memories for me. There are many variations of its preparation, and its origins are controversial, but nonetheless, it tastes simply divine! I've veganized this delicacy and prepared it for you.

๐Ÿ“œ Ingredients :

Dough:

500g flour (spelt 630/1050 or light wheat flour)

200-250g sugar

200g ground almonds

250g butter (Alsan or vegetable margarine)

1 packet of vanilla sugar

2-3 tablespoons lemon juice

ยฝ packet of baking powder

Cream:

100g coconut oil

1 can of coconut milk

100ml agave syrup

200g roasted hazelnuts

Decoration: ground poppy seeds or sesame seeds

๐Ÿฒ Preparation:

For the dough, melt the butter, stir in the sugar and vanilla sugar, and then mix in the remaining ingredients. This will form a crumbly dough. Spread it on a baking sheet as a crumble and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.

For the cream, heat everything in a saucepan and mix well. Roughly chop the hazelnuts, leaving some larger pieces.

Crumble the baked dough into a large bowl by hand. Add the chopped hazelnuts and the cream and mix thoroughly.

It's best to place it in a shallow bowl with a slight rim and press down firmly. Form a mound and decorate with poppy seeds or sesame seeds.

Chill for at least 2 hours. It tastes best chilled!
